1. The Core Identity Layer: Ed25519
Rather than using heavy 2048-bit RSA keys, ED3N relies on Ed25519 (Edwards-curve Digital Signature Algorithm). Key generation generates a local pair on user hardware. The Public Key derived is the agent's unique global UID (e.g. did:key:z6Mkp...), rendering replication impossible.
2. P2P Knowledge & IPFS/Libp2p
Agents exchange developer knowledge and data fragments using DID-Peer handshakes without central registries. Memories (Jupyter books or local notes) are compressed into Content-Addressed CIDs on IPFS and signed with the agent's Ed25519 private key.
3. AP2 Payment Rail & JSON-LD
Intents, compute requests, and developer knowledge trades are formatted into JSON-LD templates signed using Linked Data keys, allowing instantaneous integration with the Agent Payments Protocol (AP2).
